Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy describes how Zuplo, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on gozuplo.org and the Zuplo developer platform (together, the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. They help us recognise your device, retain preferences, and assess use. We also use related tools, including local storage, to track cookie-banner dismissal state.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Developer console session token, CSRF protection token, cookie-banner dismissal state (localStorage) | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | Docs sidebar collapsed/expanded state; console UI theme preference | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Anonymized page-view events, referrer tracking, time-on-page (self-hosted; no third-party advertising pixels) | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently used | n/a |
4. Notice and Choice
Continued use of the Service means you agree to the cookie use described above. Analytics cookies can be declined in the cookie banner or through your browser settings. The notice returns every six months, and you may reopen it anytime using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon), we honour browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. Because the Company does not sell personal information or use targeted advertising cookies, a GPC signal primarily results in suppression of any analytics initialisation for the session in which it is detected.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party service providers may place some cookies for us, including a self-hosted analytics platform. Data-processing agreements with these providers restrict their data use to providing services for the Company.
7. Managing Cookies
- Opt out of analytics through the cookie banner, available from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
- Use browser settings to block or remove cookies; per-browser guidance is available at aboutcookies.org.
- If you block strictly necessary cookies, the developer console may not work fully.
8. Changes and Contact
We may revise this policy if cookie practices change. The "Last updated" date above will show the revision.
