Common questions
Each inbound HTTP request to the gateway counts as one, whatever the upstream. MCP tool calls count individually, not as the WebSocket connection.
Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at billing period end. Routes and config stay preserved, while routes beyond the new tier are paused.
Starter and Builder block requests over the limit with a 429 response. Email alerts arrive at 80% and 100%. Scale and Enterprise bill overage per million.
Builder and Scale include a 14-day free trial with no credit card. If it expires without an upgrade, your account returns to Starter and the route count is adjusted.
Builder and above include the MCP gateway, with no separate MCP seat or session fee. Each inbound MCP tool call is one request against your gateway plan. Your customers' MCP usage counts against your gateway plan. Enterprise has volume pricing for high-throughput MCP.
